DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you plan, implement, and coordinate services at the local county and municipal health departments as it relates to maternal and infant programs, child health programs, and programs for children with special health care needs. You monitor, coordinate, and assess other programs addressing the health of the maternal population.

Other duties include preparing grant agreements, preparing grant amendments, and revising the grant budget as needed. You prepare other grant and contract documents such as the non-solicitation award, request for application, request for proposals, and interdepartmental memorandums of understanding using department templates to implement services. Also, you develop or revise operating policies and procedures, goals and objectives, and recommend criteria for the evaluation of the programs quality, efficiency, and effectiveness. In addition, you develop annual budget requests and program budgets using appropriate federal and state guidelines.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week Work hours are flexible between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with 30-minute or 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. You will be expected to report to the headquarter office as needed or as directed by your supervisor. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Please check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as a Public Health Program Associate 2 (commonwealth title);or A bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience in the development, analysis, or monitoring of programs, grants, or contracts in health, human services, social or behavioral services, health care services, or health insurance;or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
