JOB SUMMARY

This job develops and implements strategies that advance acquisition, retention, and engagement objectives for the business to business audiences, the business to consumer audiences, providers, products and services. Works with the marketing team, matrix partners and external vendors to execute tactics and integrated marketing campaigns to include advertising, direct marketing, social and digital tactics. Leads the development of marketing project briefs in collaboration with key stakeholders, matrix partners and marketing research to define marketing brief objectives, identify key insights, positioning, key messages and tracking. The incumbent will work with team members to assure the execution of high quality marketing strategies within defined timeframe. Lead ongoing communication of project status to key stakeholders and/or approvers. Ensures brand alignment to increase brand awareness and equity. Ensures necessary approvals and adheres to current processes and brand, federal and state guidelines. Works with internal matrix partners and external vendors to develop and manage project budgets. Tracks and measures marketing project outcomes including marketing activities, response, leads, sales, retention and ROI/ROMI.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement strategies that advance acquisition, retention, and engagement objectives for the business to business audiences, the business to consumer audiences, providers, products and services. Work with the marketing team, matrix partners and external vendors to execute tactics and integrated marketing campaigns to include advertising, direct marketing, social and digital tactics.

  • Lead the development of marketing project briefs in collaboration with key stakeholders, matrix partners and marketing research to define marketing brief objectives, identify key insights, positioning, key messages and tracking.

  • Work with team members to assure the execution of high quality marketing strategies within defined timeframe. Develop detailed project requirements and timelines for all tactics in marketing plans including measurable objectives, capture of marketing messages and claims, campaign data specifications, and creative mandatories. Lead ongoing communication of project status to key stakeholders and/or approvers. Ensure brand alignment to increase brand awareness and equity. Ensure necessary approvals and adheres to current processes and brand, federal and state guidelines.

  • Track and measure marketing project outcomes including marketing activities, response, leads, sales, retention and ROI/ROMI.

  • Work with internal matrix partners and external vendors to develop and manage project budgets.

  • Other duties as assigned or requested.

EDUCATION

Required

  • Associate's Degree in Marketing, Business or related field

Substitutions

  • 3 years of related and progressive experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related field

EXPERIENCE

Required

  • 2 years coordinating the end to end delivery of a variety of marketing projects

  • Work experience in project management tools

  • Budget tracking

Preferred

  • 2 years' experience in the marketing of health or other insurance products

  • Work history in environment with multiply priories

  • Demonstrated experience working across multiple organization to successful completion of project

  • High standard of professional conduct

Pay Range Minimum:

$50,200.00

Pay Range Maximum:

$90,300.00

Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations. The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
