The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is currently seeking a dynamic candidate to our join team as a Mail Production Operator at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. As part of your role, you will be responsible for handling computer-generated mail output using cutting-edge Bell & Howell automated mail inserting machines, including the Automatic In-Line Mailing system and Mailstar 500 inserting equipment. By ensuring the timely delivery of materials required by the Motor Vehicle Code, you will play a crucial role in serving Department customers. DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Mail Production Operator you will be performing such duties as: Programs machine as part of daily start-up procedures. Operates Bell & Howell Aims equipment. Loads equipment with specific continuous form output, cut sheet output, letsets, titles, etc. and corresponding inserts for that output. Reads verification reports to match output. Keeps machine bins filled with card stock, envelopes and like materials. Verifies that work coming off machines is correct (address showing through Window envelope right side up e.g.) and places it in cardboard or plastic trays. Performs minor machine repairs and adjustments. Load mail on cart and transports loaded cart to assigned area within Mail processing. Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 75 hours bi-weekly Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. One year as a Mail Production Assistant; or One year of clerical experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements:
