DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Deputy Communications Director 2, you will be responsible for performing public relations and strategic communications work to support and share the initiatives and mission of the Department. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to two or three days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Four years of experience in preparing public relations promotion through all media; and a bachelor's degree with major course work in journalism, communications, English, or a related field; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
