DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, the primary responsibility will be to perform annual inspections of public use airports and heliports and periodic inspections of private use airports, heliports, and seaplane bases, along with their associated facilities. The objective of these inspections will be to evaluate and ensure compliance with established aviation safety standards and both state and federal regulations. Furthermore, this position will involve the preparation of comprehensive written correspondence and reports that outline the findings of these inspections. These reports will also include recommendations for corrective actions, and it will be essential to follow up on the implementation of these actions to ensure compliance. Additionally, this role will involve providing technical guidance to airports, heliports, and engineering firms in matters related to aviation safety, strategic planning, and facility development. This guidance will be crucial in assisting these entities in achieving their objectives while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Possession of an active Accredited Airport Executive certificate issued by the American Association of Airport Executives; or Four years of experience as a commercial pilot or flight instructor; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Other Requirements:
