DESCRIPTION OF WORK As an associate architectural designer within the Bureau of Real Estate, you'll be part of a motivated team responsible for the management of over 18 million square feet of owned and leased space across the Commonwealth housing over 30 Commonwealth agencies. You'll be responsible for assisting our architectural services team with strategic space utilization assessments, management, and planning. You will also support our architectural services team with oversight and management of design and construction projects on both leased and owned facilities.

You will become a subject matter expert in the space management module of the Commonwealth's enterprise real estate management software product, TRIRIGA. This system is integrated with Autodesk programs and is an essential resource for complying with space and occupancy reporting requirements and providing visibility to all Commonwealth agencies into the utilization of space.

You will conduct research relative to new and emergent strategies and solutions relative to space management to make work simpler and more efficient to serve our customers.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Travel is required to the headquarters location and to conduct site visits throughout the Commonwealth. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, and report to the office at least once per month.  In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.  If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: A bachelor's degree in architecture or architectural engineering or a closely related field which included major course work in architectural design;or An equivalent combination of experience and training in architectural design work. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

Other Requirements: This particular position also requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C driver's license.
