Our Company

SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.

We are seeking a highly motivated Administrative Assistant professional to become part of our Harrisburg, PA team!

Under general supervision of the Pharmacist In Charge, and in accordance with local, state, federal and company laws and regulations provide a variety of administrative, office and clerical functions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clerical and administrative support to all departments

  • Answer central telephone system and direct calls accordingly

  • Greets and interacts professionally with all internal and external guest/personnel using strong interpersonal skills providing direction and resources to address needs

  • Maintain office supply inventory

  • Assist with various projects

  • Maintains the department emails and phone lines, answering questions and providing requested information, or referring questions to subject matter experts

  • Clean and help maintain equipment and work areas according to prescribed methods

  • Assist with onboarding tasks (issuing badge IDs)

  • Perform other administrative and special projects as required and/or as assigned

    Qualifications

  • Previous pharmacy experience preferred

  • Driven and motivated problem-solver

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills

  • Proficient Microsoft Office

  • Ability to multitask effectively and adapt to competing demands

  • Ability to maintain professional and cordial demeanor, team player

  • Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality

  • Must be detail oriented

    Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm
