UTZ Quality Foods Inc Transportation Systems and Process Analyst in Hanover, Pennsylvania

Reference #: 5001021382506 Utz Quality Foods is currently seeking a Transportation Systems and Process Analyst to support the Hanover, PA area. Working Remotely, the Transportation Systems and Process Analyst will have responsibility for overseeing our Transportation Management System (TMS), and streamlining processes to improve system utilization. This role will also have accountability for how the TMS interacts with other internal systems such as Microsoft D365 (ERP) and any WMS.  This position is responsible for rolling out system enhancements and increasing automation within the TMS. In addition to the system related work, this position will be responsible for identifying process improvements within the logistics processes, and identifying ways to implement efficiencies to improve these processes. Approximately 80% of the role will include Project or Analytical work.  The position will have an opportunity to deliver real results to the organization, while gaining valuable insight into the overall operation of our logistics network. Key Responsibilities Ongoing maintenance of the TMS ensuring operational continuity. Implementation of system driven improvements including advanced optimization and automation. Coordination of opportunities across transportation planners, systems, and cross-functional partners. Improve freight payment and accessorial exception process. Identify and resolve integration related issues between D365 and TMS. Improve EDI/API Connectivity with carriers. Leverage all system capabilities within TMS. Identify gaps and streamline OS&D Process. Resolve chronic service and capacity issues; ensure carriers are performing to expectations and maintain corrective action plans for those that are not.  Proactively identify problems and swiftly work with senior management to implement the appropriate solution. Work in conjunction with Logistics Procurement and Logistics Management to contain overall freight expense. Manage route guides and assist with the annual freight RFP event. Ensure that the plan is in accordance with all the company's strategies, goals, objectives, and procedures while meeting expected financial commitments. Job Requirements Transportation Management System (TMS) experience is strongly preferred. Demonstrated analytical, business process and problem-solving experience. Prior experience engaging cross-functional teams designed to identify analytical and savings efficiencies and design solutions. Strong communications and process skills with the ability to evaluate and challenge the current state. Self-starter who thrives working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic, deadline-oriented environment. Creative and innovative thinker with proven ability to drive results. Proven organizational and priority-setting skills. Ability to achieve results and execute simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and communicating status. Proficient in Microsoft programs include Word, Excel and Outlook. Strong computer skills including significant expertise in Excel-based modeling and analysis. Team player that can independently manage multiple priorities in an efficient manner. Detail-oriented with an ability to manage multiple tasks; work within time constraints; and shifting priorities is required. Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
