GENERAL SUMMARY: The Route Account Specialist is responsible for weekly settlement of all Company owned and IDP (Independent Distributor) routes on a weekly basis. This role is responsible for in-depth audits when warranted to combat theft and inaccuracies. Performs data entry tasks related to IBO settlements and day-to-day tasks that ensure effective account management of account collections and payments.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the timely completion of weekly tasks that create accurate settlements and reporting. Responsible for region settlement support with field sales/operations and IBOs. Responsible for management of accounts run by external operators. Process entry of single line memos weekly to ensure accurate settlements. Performs route specific audits as required by exceptions, legal or management. Responsible for processing of all manual checks when warranted. Maintains accurate records for accounts and stays up-to-date on current purchase structures. Compiles account audit and exception validation reports weekly using various reporting systems. Researches all exceptions for approval and/or resolution. Uses all tools available to maintain minimal errors. Collaborates with IDP Collections team to minimize IBO bad debt. Collaborates with Financial Associate on stales guarantee process Audits and maintains IDP accounts to ensure IDPprofiles are current. Responsible for all one-to-one communication with IDPs, including welcome phone calls. Works directly with IDPs in a proactive manner to resolve discrepancies. Identifies potential issues and escalates as appropriate. Reconciles account status using current and historical invoicing and payment activity analysis. Establishes strongworking relationships with field sales team to support collections efforts. Interfaces withSales, Operations and Finance departments to resolve billing, collection andcredit issues. Strives to find efficient ways to perform tasks; recommends process enhancements to improve business process. Provides route specific information to RAM Supervisor/Manager upon request. Provides support and coverage for other associates during times of absences. Responds to customer requests for service and assistance. Maintains, manages, and responds to assigned Service Now requests timely and accurately. Performs other duties as assigned.

COMPLEXITY AND SCOPE: Minimal supervision; work often done independently by following practices and procedures while occasionally having worked checked. Responsible for processing of over $5 million dollars in payments weekly.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Associate's Degree in Accounting or Finance or a minimum of 4 years of related experience required.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED): Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

Compensation nd Benefits:

The base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between$34,300.00 - $55,400.00

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
