Assembler - Tymetal Corp. - Greenwich

Tymetal is actively seeking an Assembler to assist in the assembly of a variety of highway equipment and custom metal fabrication products on our first shift. We are looking for a safety focused individual who takes pride in their work and has a strong attention to detail. Our Assembler may also assist in the loading and unloading of finished products and raw materials.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to handle multiple assembly and related tasks with little or no supervision.
• Ability to read a tape measure and prints/shop drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability meet deadlines as assigned.
• Automotive repair experience preferred but not required.
• Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed.
• Must be able to lift and carry as well as push and pull weights of up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to withstand exposure to dust, fumes and chemicals such as oil, grease, vehicle exhaust, steel and aluminum welding fumes, etc.
• Ability to access equipment at various levels by reaching or climbing a ladder, bend over, walk, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.
• One to three years of experience in a manufacturing or similar environment desired.
