Join our expanding Field Service team! We're seeking individuals who thrive on customer interaction and problem-solving. As part of our team, you'll coordinate field projects through our distribution network for a diverse range of customers. Collaborating with Engineers, Manufacturing, Supplier quality and Parts departments, you'll craft unique solutions tailored to specific customer issues across various product models and disciplines. About the position:

We're seeking a Project Specialist to join our Field Service department. In this role, you'll oversee field projects, while gaining a thorough understanding of customer issues, applications, and the use of Raymond equipment. Working closely with internal departments and external organizations, you'll develop tailored solutions for both new and existing products in the field. The Project Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting internal teams such as Factory, Field Service, Warranty, and Product Health, with potential customer-facing responsibilities. Daily interactions with internal and external service management teams, sales, engineering, product development, and factory staff are key aspects of this role.

You will:

  • Manage and coordinate all field related projects for Raymond produced product. You may visit customer locations to gain insights into their use of Raymond equipment and comprehensively understand reported issues.
  • Establish effective communication with customer management teams, S&SC technicians, and internal management, ensuring seamless interaction. Provide guidance to service management and / or field technicians on project-specific matters.
  • Report on KPI targets and current project status to Senior Management.
  • Collaborate with Engineering by providing field feedback to facilitate the development of field correction efforts and or modification to existing equipment.
  • Utilize historical data and systems to assess problem scope and urgency for resolution.
  • Extend field support to CPHT and new product development teams, offering insights that may lead to project direction adjustments in response to evolving business needs and customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with interdepartmental and external Solutions and Support teams.
  • Deliver support to customers, field service, suppliers, and factories on relevant issues.
  • Gain proficiency for all Raymond products and service organizational hierarchy.
  • Keep management informed of issue and progress, status, changes, priorities of resolution.

About you:

  • Familiarity with Raymond and/or Toyota product preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong technical aptitude, analytical problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Strategic, creative, positive attitude, team-oriented, self-motivated, and critical thinker.
  • Ability to constructively interface with all levels of the organization.
  • Superior attention to detail and standards of quality.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities.

It would be great if you had:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) experience and/or certification preferred.
  • Customer-facing experience preferred.

About the total compensation package:

Salary - $58,500 - $84,300 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.

Relocation – This position may qualify for relocation.
