The Impact You Can Make In collaboration with other members of the Patient Services Leadership Team, the Administrative Supervisor provides leadership, direction, and consultation guidance to professional and ancillary services staff. The Administrative Supervisor is a catalyst facilitating professional practice and excellence in patient outcomes. The Administrative Supervisor assumes administrative responsibility for the hospital in the absence of other administrative personnel and is an active participant and contributor to strategic planning, organizing and managing the overall activities of Patient Services. The Glens Falls Hospital Impact Mission Our Mission is to improve the health of people in our region by providing access to exceptional, affordable, and patient-centered care every day and in every setting. /Education/Experience:/ · Master's degree in nursing, health sciences, or management discipline required · 2 years recent clinical experience required. · 2 years of nursing management/leadership experience required · Each individual is responsible for maintaining current knowledge related to the age and development of the patient population in areas in which they work /Licenses/Certificates/Registrations/ · CurrentNew YorkStatelicense and registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse · Certification in specialty and/or Nursing Administration preferred // /Skills/Abilities:/ · Ability to define and solve problems and deal with complex variables in situations where limited standardization exists. · Expert interpersonal skills. · Ability to analyze and interpret complex administrative and clinical information. · Demonstrates knowledge and ability to apply management principles. · Ability to communicate effectively on the most sensitive or complex topics. · Knowledge and application of research principles. · Ability to prioritize activities and modify approach based on a highly variable environment.
