About this position:

Supports the Communications and Marketing function by crafting content that promotes the Company’s brands, value proposition, and products/services for our website, email, digital banking platforms and sales materials. This results-oriented role is responsible for all aspects of content creation including, writing and editing, planning and content calendar management, and project management. Utilizes metrics to understand how content performs and to identify areas for optimization, with the ultimate goal of growing our business.

Essential Job Functions:

Facilitate a high degree of departmental crossover to build a variety of types of content and copy for all marketing messages.

Develop content for both digital (website, email, blog, etc.) and traditional (signage, ads, white papers, etc.) marketing to clearly deliver complex messages and promote our products and services to audiences through deep understanding of the customer segments, product lines, delivery channel needs and brand voice.

Own content and editorial calendars and utilize a variety of content management platforms to schedule and deploy messaging.

Execute multi-faceted projects and serve as front-line quality control while delivering timely work for multiple business lines.

Collaborate with third parties to develop and deliver traditional and digital materials that support our content plans.

Review and edit content developed by agencies, vendors, and/or other internal teams.

Expand depth of the Marketing Department, serving as backup to other roles as needed.

Education/Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related experience required.

6 years of experience in marketing or content development and management required.

Skills/Knowledge:

Exceptional writing and editing skills; proven ability to comprehend and convey complex information quickly and clearly

Strong understanding of communication strategy and ability to tailor content based on audience, message, medium, timeliness, and call to action

Robust project management and organizational skills including content calendar creation

Ability to communicate results to internal stakeholders while showing content’s value add

Proficiency in digital content management platforms (social, website, etc.); knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Proven time management skills, ability to adjust priorities and handle multiple tasks while paying attention to detail and meeting deadlines

Fluency in a second language (reading and speaking) a plus

Experience working in financial services a plus.

Other:

Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed; ability to travel within our Company’s footprint.

The salary range for this position is $60,406 - $65,000 annually commensurate with experience and education.

Additional compensation may be earned through the Company’s incentive programs, subject to individual and company performance.
