Afternoon/evening hours required - 10 hours/week

Fee-For-Service (FFS)

LMSW: $40 per session

LCSW and LMHC: $50 per session

The Charles Evans Center (CEC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center, providing comprehensive medical, dental and mental health services. The center specializes in meeting the needs of adults and children with developmental disabilities. Our team-based approach puts patients at the center of their care. We have great opportunities for positive, motivated individuals to work in an OMH outpatient clinic setting.

In this vital role, you will:

  • Conduct all aspects of psychotherapy with adolescents, adults, families, couples or groups according to caseload assigned.

  • Attend supervisory sessions as scheduled and demonstrate motivation for learning and willingness to take direction.

  • Attend annual agency training for Quality Assurance including fire safety, mandated reporting of abuse and universal precautions.

  • Initiate and maintain contact with other agency departments regarding your patients as necessary and appropriate in the service of quality treatment.

We require:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling.

  • License for Social Work or Mental Health Counseling by New York State.

  • Current New York State Registration license.

  • Strong clinical experience, required.
