Rowan University Adjunct Faculty (In Person) - Department of Psychology in Glassboro, New Jersey
Rowan University invites applications for adjunct teaching positions in Psychology for undergraduate and graduate courses. We have a strong preference and need for faculty who can teach classes in person, although applicants may be invited to teach either in person or online as needs arise. We offer courses on our main campus in Glassboro and also on campuses in Camden, Burlington and Gloucester Counties. Most classes run Monday through Friday throughout the day into the evening, depending on the program. Please indicate your preferred campus(es) and general availability for in person teaching in your cover letter.
The applicants must be committed to excellence in the teaching of psychology. The Psychology Department offers a range of graduate and undergraduate programs including a BA in Psychology (with online and in-person degree opportunities), a BS in Psychological Science, and a minor in Psychology. The Psychology Department also offers MA degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, School Psychology and Applied Behavior Analysis, a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, and is launching a graduate program in Human Factors. In addition to these, we offer several certificate programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Interested individuals must have at least a master’s degree.
The Psychology Department will accept applications throughout the year. When a teaching vacancy arises, we will consider the submitted applications in an effort to staff the course.

the type of courses the applicant is interested in teaching and qualified to teach;
your preferred campus(es) and general availability for teaching;
detailed information about previous teaching experience and qualifications in teaching college courses, and
the names and the contact information of three references in case additional information is required.
If the applicant wishes to submit any other supporting documents (e.g., previous student evaluations or colleague observations), they may submit them online in conjunction with the application but these are not required.
