Education: Minimum: Completion of Surgical Tech Program or Evidence of NYS Dept of Health Exemption (1 year cumulative experience between January 1, 2011-January 1, 2015). Preferred: Completion of Surgical Tech Program

License/Certification: BLS; Certification as Surgical Technologist (required for Surgical Tech Program Graduates without the Evidence of Exemption)

Experience:

Minimum: One year of experience in the healthcare field, or completion of scrub tech training program with a evidence of application for Surgical Tech Certification.

Preferred: Scrub tech experience.
