Restaurant Dishwasher:
The Dishwasher is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, including dishwashing duties and maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness. This role plays a vital part in supporting kitchen operations and upholding food safety standards. This is not an entry level position.
Job Duties:
Washes, dries & stocks all wares including pots, pans, flatware, and glasses.
Correctly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas.
Stocks serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils.
Waste, compost & recycling management
Cleans trash receptacles with water or steam.
General and deep cleaning including all opening and closing sidewalk, daily, weekly and monthly tasks.
Moves dishwashing supplies and equipment from storage to work areas.
May assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving, as directed.
Ensures work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health safety and sanitation.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
What we expect from you:
2 + years of previous experience in a high-volume setting preferred
positive attitude
a keen eye for detail - we need to make sure the dishes & the work space are squeaky clean!

be a professional: remain composed & communicate clearly with your teammates
we are in an open kitchen environment and “on stage” at all times
full-time or part-time availability & willingness to be flexible with our team as needed
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of walking or standing
Must be able to lift, carry and place up to 60 pounds at a time.
Must be able to work nights
Must be able to bend, stoop, and wipe frequently
Must frequently immerse hands in water
Must be able to work in a warm & damp environment

Salary Description
$17-$20 per hour, based on experience
