Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our client’s finance team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and experience with financial software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger entries

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

• Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts

• Prepare and process payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations

• Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets

• Assist with tax filings, budgeting, and financial forecasting

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

• Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)

• 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar role

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite)

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
