Our client just outside of Syracuse NY is looking to add a Controls Engineer to their growing team! This is a very exciting opportunity for someone who is coming out of school with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and is interested in working on design related functions for control systems. This opportunity isn't only for people right out of school. Our client is also seeking individuals who are in their early career and ready to make the next step with just a few years of experience.

responsibilities:

• Develop control system design for continuous web handling machinery according to specified requirements.

• Engage primarily in design and drafting tasks under the guidance of a Senior or Staff Project Engineer.

• Supervise other design engineers as necessary and collaborate with the engineering team to ensure timely project completion.

• Provide backup support for assembly, purchasing, and field service inquiries and issues.

• Promote design commonality and manufacturability.

• Integrate all components into general arrangement drawings.

• Participate in project teams for contract and project design reviews.

• Travel up to 10% for customer visits, vendor meetings, and project start-ups as needed.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

• Maintain awareness of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 management systems.
