Position: Pipe Fabrication Associate

Location: Freedom, PA 15042

Are you looking for a long-term position with the potential for direct hire? PDS Tech is partnering with the largest U.S. distributor of plumbing supplies, PVF, waterworks, fire and fabrication products, and a major distributor of HVAC equipment and industrial services. We are seeking motivated individuals to join the team in a dynamic role involving machine operation and pipe fabrication.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate machines for pipe cutting, grooving, threading, and measuring

• Use band saws, torches, and Landis machines to accurately measure and cut steel pipe

• Ensure correct measurements for pipe lengths, grooving, threading, and beveling

• Assemble pipe orders, whether in single sticks or bundles, maintaining a well-organized work area

• Safely move, cut, and assemble pipes, observing strict safety protocols for storage and transportation

• Stand, bend, twist, and pull during an 8-hour shift

• Lift up to 50 lbs. as part of your daily duties

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 6 months experience in machine operation

• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure

• Strong work history with no large gaps in employment

• High school diploma or GED (must be listed on the resume)

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (half-hour unpaid lunch)

• Consistent 8-hour shifts with potential for overtime

Pay Details: $17.50 per hour
