Franklin Industries is seeking a qualified manual machinist.

The qualified candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Safely operate a variety of machining equipment including: lathe, drill presses, mills, and grinding machine.
• Operate and maintain inside and outside micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Complete work orders to provide support to other departments.
• Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, and attachments.
• Monitors work to ensure machine is functioning properly.

Required experience/education:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 - 5 years machining experience.
• Mechanical ability, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Jib crane experience.
• Working knowledge of manual machines, and machining tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.34 - $26.01 per hour
