Job Title: Accounting Specialist opportunity in Fort Washington, PA!

Job Description

This Accounting Specialist will support the Servicing & Loan Research side of the business with accounts receivable cleanup from the recent acquisition of a new entity.

Responsibilities

  • Review aged Accounts Receivable in Workday

  • Review and analyze pre-existing invoices

  • Clean up and adjust incurring accounts receivable amounts for customers

  • Reconcile Accounts Receivable discrepancies

  • Run pre-existing SQL queries

  • Work within advanced data sets, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas in Microsoft Excel

Essential Skills

  • Experience in accounting, general ledger, journal entry, revenue, and accounts receivable collections

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, basic formulas, and macros

  • Experience with accounts receivable, reconciliation, and billing/order to cash functions

  • Experience with ERP systems such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, JDE, NetSuite, Peoplesoft, Microsoft Dynamics or similar

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

  • 6+ months of experience with an ERP system

  • 2+ years of experience within organizations with at least $100M in revenue

  • 2+ years of experience with reconciliations

  • Mortgage industry experience

  • Experience with loan research

Work Environment

This role will report within the Loan Research/Servicing side of accounting and will work on a team of 10+. The position requires being onsite 4 days per week at the office located in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. The team values flexibility with remote work options on Fridays.
