You are:

A leader who inspires clients embrace to innovation and your teams to deliver excellence. You are comfortable advising CFOs, Controllers, and other Finance leaders on winning strategies and the initiatives needed to achieve and execute business transformation objectives. You understand that Finance is the key to driving value across the enterprise, and that empowered people, optimized processes, and enabling technologies, are the keys to a successful transformation.

The work:

· Partner with client Finance leadership to create their “North Star” vision and the roadmap that “brings the vision to life”.

· Lead and monitor client engagement teams, while maintaining active communication with clients to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction

· Understand the client’s challenges and use knowledge of related leading practices, to provide solutions to complex business problems

· Oversee clients’ digital transformations: identify needed skillsets, data, operating models, process automation, analytics, workflows, and enabling technology (i.e. (FinTech apps, AI/ML/GenAI, etc).

· Finance Transformation Project lead: collaborating with the team(s), and Accenture / Client leadership, to ensure the delivery of successful outcomes, while creating value for the client.

· Be a trusted advisor to senior leadership

· Encourage project teams to utilize data, analytics, and system outputs to develop recommendations

· Drive incremental sales by leading and assembling the requisite teams to respond to proposals

· Manage the required project administration duties (i.e. staffing, Statements of Work, budget, performance reviews, etc.)

· Serve as a Subject Matter Advisor for other Accenture projects and proposals for your area of expertise.

· Develop Points of View, Delivery Assets or Playbooks to benefit the CFO&EV practice.

· Stay abreast of current regulations, trends, and technologies influencing digital finance, analytics, and the Finance ecosystem

· Encourage innovation from team members; support their ideas and career goals

Here’s what you need:

  • Minimum 10 years of finance management consulting experience

  • Minimum 10 years of functional experience in Finance operations, such as the Financial Close, External Reporting, Intercompany, Consolidations, Order-to-Cash or Invoice-to-Pay, etc

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with finance platform transformations such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday

  • Significant experience leading projects and/or teams and influencing Finance executives

  • Experience in one of the following industries: Consumer Products, Life Sciences, Retail, Financial Services

  • Bachelor's degree in one of the following: Economics, Finance, or Business Administration

    Bonus points if:

  • You’re a pro when it comes to improving engagement – for the business, a practice, or people development

  • You’re a great leader or functional team member on ERP implementations and know your way around SAP, Oracle, and/or Workday

  • You have successfully led one or more of the following Finance projects: process automation or standardization, operating model, process reinvention using RPA, Applied Intelligence, Machine Learning, or GenAI

  • You have great experience leading the optimization finance and accounting processes, i.e., Record-to-Report, Invoice-to-Pay and Order-To-Cash

  • You have worked with Finance function enabling technologies such as Blackline, Workiva, and Trintech

  • You have defined and shaped a company’s financial, management, or regulatory reporting; and / or have experience developing Finance Master Data strategy

  • You’ve worked with these applications: Anaplan, OneStream, Hyperion, BPC, Tableau, Qlik

  • You’ve got an MBA after your name or another type of advanced degree or an accounting designation (i.e CPA, CA, etc)

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
