Prepare and cook Turkish specialty dishes such as Manti, Adana, Kofte, Revani, Custard, Kunefe. Create menu and daily special dishes. Review and approve vendor performance standards and measurements. Estimate and order food and supplies. Maintain accurate inventory. Arrange for equipment purchases, maintenance and repairs. Ensure that all department of health codes are being adhered to and that the kitchen is a safe and clean space. Meet with customers to plan menu for catering and private events. Supervise and coordinate activities of prep cook and other workers engaged in food preparation.REQUIREMENTS:Must have 2 years of experience cooking Turkish traditional dishes and cold appetizers such as Manti, Adana, Kofte, Revani, Custard, Kunafe, Estimating and ordering food, and supplies, create menu and daily specials, supervising kitchen staff. Hours: 40 hours per week, T, Th, F, Sa., S., 12:00 p.m. to 8 p.m.
