Bentley Systems Finance Manager in Exton, Pennsylvania

Finance Manager

Location: USA (Office Based, Home Based or Hybrid)

Position Summary:

As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis for Bentley’s Services Revenue and Margin. You will work closely with business leaders, finance, and accounting teams to ensure data accuracy. You will also support the budgeting and forecasting processes. Provide recommendations for process optimization and conduct ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions. This position requires a strong background in financial and data analysis, critical thinking skills, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial reporting, forecasting and analysis for Bentley Services Revenue and Margin

  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand revenue and expense drivers, and establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to help understandingbusiness performance

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis on variance and trend

  • Monthly review with business leaders on performance and gain insights on the trend and variance on the business drivers

  • Support the annual budgeting process by understanding the business plan,identify the financial implications and making assumptions on the underlining drivers

  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards

  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support for special projects

What You Bring to The Team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, related field (Master's/MBA a plus), or relevant training and experience

  • 5-7 years of experience in financial and performance analysis in the Professional/ITServices industry

  • Strong knowledge of accounting and financial statements

  • Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g.,Excel, SQL, etc.) and experience in developing data visualization (e.g., PowerBI)

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to a diverse audience

  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements (https://www.bls.gov/ors/factsheet/visual-overview-of-physical-demands.htm) ).

  • This role requires minimal travel.
