Mechanical Design Engineer

Contract Position

8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday.  Some flexibility is required depending on specific project's meeting times.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years experience

• NX, Ansys Workbench experience

• Responsible for the structural design of industrial high voltage cabinets - sheet metal fabrications used to house high voltage electrical equipment used in the propulsion system of mining vehicles and locomotives.

• Responsible for the arrangement of electrical equipment in high voltage cabinets.
• Responsible for all phases of product development including requirements definition, concept development, detailed design and analysis, drawing release, validation testing, and production support.
