Description:

• Prepare stains, reagents, solutions and mounts slides for microscopic analysis as needed.

• Observe and analyze reactions.

• Specimen analysis.

• Cut and embed samples.

• Microtomy.

• Embed samples in cassettes.

• Complete special stains in automated machines.

• Support cytology preparation of samples.

• Utilize EPIC for EMR system updates.

• Follow CAP and CLIA guidelines.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Associate's in Sciences required

• ASCP preferred, not required

• Microtomy, embedding and staining experience
