Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('SpinCo') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

What We’re Looking For:
Peacock, NBCUniversal’s streaming service, is seeking a Principal Technical Account Manager to manage a team dedicated to our MVPD & Telco experiences across all of our Global propositions. The Principal Technical Account Manager, is a highly collaborative, cross-functional role with touch points across NBCU's direct to consumer businesses including Product & Technology, Partnerships & Business distribution, Content, Legal, and Operations. The position requires excellent communication, strong project/business management skills, keen understanding of the streaming & media landscape, and an ability to interface with external & internal partners. The role is responsible to maintain key relationships our third party distribution partners within both business and technology teams. The role should have a keen understanding of streaming technologies to include delivery of streaming services to partners such as Comcast, Verizon and Deutsch Telcom.
About the Team
The TAM team’s mission is to establish NBCUniversal Streaming Services as a contemplated and innovation leader with strategic distribution partners for NBCUniversal Direct to Consumer platforms. The focus view of the group is to serve as the core facilitator for product and technology with top mobile, connected device, consumer electronics, & telecom operators (MVPDs, Wireless, & Pay TV), and other distribution partners such as (Google, Amazon, Apple, Samsung etc). The TAM is responsible for creating and maintaining constructive relationships with key strategic partners and ensuring business as usual (BAU) practices are developed and operationalized. The TAM team cultivates the link between our partners, emerging technologies, and the product, technology, and business teams within the organization. TAMs ensure the operational efficiency with partners and establish and maintain reporting, and monitoring of key metrics for our ongoing partnership programs. Generally focusing on operational and technical areas of measure. TAM serve as a primary point of contact with the distribution partners and our technology and product teams, working collaboratively across all functional stakeholders internally and externally.
Lead Account Management for Key Partners: Manage and nurture relationships with our largest reseller distribution partners, including MVPDs, Telcos, and Enterprise partners, while also fostering strong relationships with new partners as they join the business.
Strategic Leadership & Scaling: Develop and drive the strategy for scaling the Technical Account Management team globally across all propositions, ensuring support for our MVPD, Telco, and Enterprise partners.
Operational Excellence: Design and implement cross-functional operational processes that drive synergy among all stakeholder groups & streamline end-to-end processes relating to these partnerships, ensuring smooth and efficient collaboration. Run project reviews & Post-Mortems to understand how we can continuously improve.
Collaborate on Commercial & Partnership Strategies: Establish strong, influential relationships with the Commercial/Partnership teams of each proposition, working closely to execute our GSPT Partner strategy. Focus on maximizing economies of scale across distribution partnerships and our GSP platform.
Onboarding and Partner Integration: Lead the team in successfully onboarding new partners through the ‘Standard Commercial Partnerships’ (Partner Gateway). This includes leading and coordinating technical sessions with partners, ensuring alignment across contract terms, technology implementation, and business objectives.
Team Management: Lead a high performing team of engaged, self-motivated problem-solvers, capable enough to support the Product, Technology and Commercial teams with subject matter expertise, independent and confident to challenge appropriately when needed and always striving for the best Partner experience.
Stakeholder Communication & Program Coordination: Drive and support cross-functional workstreams to ensure clear communication with stakeholders and monitor the status of programs and deals.
Risk Management & Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, developing strategies to escalate and mitigate them effectively.
Collaboration on Deal Implementation: Partner closely with technology, product, and business teams to ensure that technology-related deal terms are feasible, focusing on ideation and planning to implement commitments.
Operational Improvement & Incident Management: Spearhead initiatives to reduce operational burdens and minimize platform or partner incidents. Collaborate with teams to identify root causes, assess impact, and define next steps.
10+ years of experience & educated to bachelor’s level or equivalent, with a background in technical account management, tech business management, business admin, technology or engineering.
Experience managing a small-medium team of successful account managers, ideally responsible for 3rd party reseller or Distribution partnerships
Extensive experience leading complex end to end technology and operations integrations solutions for digital media/ streaming platforms (VOD, SVOD, AVOD, TVE)
Ability to showcase examples of delivering optimal operational processes which drive efficiency and reduce friction across a global matrixed business
Superior customer relationship and account management skills, for global MVPD, reseller or other distribution parners preferable
Confident in managing, influencing and growing relationships with internal & external stakeholders of all levels, including ability to influence/advocate Sky & NBCUniversal product/technology initiatives
Proven understanding of billing & application integrations globally with technology partners and MVPD integrators like Charter & Xfinity, including their competitive landscape.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and create clarity and organization amidst uncertainty
Experienced communicator with strong writing skills and an ability for synthesizing and communicating information to different level of partners
Proactive problem solver and excellent time management skills
Previous experience working with remote teams / international teams
Ability to travel domestically and internationally

Salary range: $150,000 - $190,000 (bonus and long-term incentive eligible).
