JOB PURPOSE

The Knorr Innovation Deployment Brand Manager will own the innovation funnel end-to-end, from development to execution, a key engine of growth for the brand. This role will report to the Innovation Deployment Marketing Director and lead a direct report and cross-functional teams to have a deep understanding of consumer trends, unmet needs; conceptualize and deploy disruptive innovations in the market.

This individual will have responsibility of transforming the way Knorr shows up in the eyes, and hearts of consumers, evolving the portfolio over the next few years, by crafting a real compelling long-term Innovation funnel within the Bouillon and Meal Makers categories for the US, to bring the brand to new heights.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Your every day job will involve plenty of strategic thinking and crafting. This includes deeply understanding consumers pain points, creating brilliant concepts as well as crafting products using new and breakthrough technologies and formats that deliver superior benefits.

  • You will lead cross-functional teams, including R&D, SC, CMI, Finance. You will also often work with external partners, such as research agencies, world-class design agencies as well as the best flavor experts globally.

  • Develop and lead Knorr’s big bet innovations within Bouillons and Meal Makers categories, from concept stage through execution.

  • Lead and own every aspect of your assigned innovation projects across multiple stages, specific responsibilities include strategy & concept development, pricing, P&L creation, innovation forecasting, and go-to-market creative campaigns.

  • Securing resource prioritization through a clear business case for projects worth pursuing.

  • Partner with the commercial team to develop compelling selling stories for your innovations, rooted in category growth strategies.

  • Bring what’s best-in-class on the latest innovation trends and technologies, as well as competitive movements to each initiative.

  • Own and manage the innovation budget and resources allocated.

  • Manage and develop future leaders, with a direct report (ABM).

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred with 5+ years of experience in Brand or CPG marketing, with a minimum of 3-5 years in innovation and product management.

  • A creative mindset, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Has a real passion for innovation, crafting mixes that truly excite consumers

  • Excellent oral/written and presentation skills; ability to tailor your communication style across a multitude of disciplines leadership levels.

  • Experience leading or working with large teams, with the ability to build rapport and influence cross-functional and global partners.

  • Strong track record of successful product launches, including landing an executing communication campaigns in the US market

  • Comfortable with using data throughout aspects of the role, turning consumer and social insights into strategic thinking, and building viable financial models.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $99,760 to $149,640. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
