Amphenol Interconnect Products Manager, Program in Endicott, New York

We are currently looking for a Program Manager to join our team. This person will be responsible for program/account management for assigned key accounts. Individual is responsible for identifying, capturing, implementing and maintaining business opportunities with key accounts. Responsibilities and Duties: Provide overall program management for assigned key accounts. Maintain an in-depth understanding and documentation of key account products, markets, organizational structure, and interconnection needs. Tactical, Operational, and Strategic Communication - Internally and Externally. This includes coordinating with Sales and Customer Service, Engineering, Operations and Quality teams. Assist with new program implementation by ccordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution. Monitor project performance and provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders. Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures. General Contract Review. Conduct and facilitate regular customer meetings - traveling to customer sites as needed. Process quote entries. Monitor margins on an ongoing basis. Manage price/cost factors to maximize profits and minimize risk of excess/obsolete inventory. Manage, coordinate and/or assist with special projects as assigned. Understand and follow applicable Company practices, policies and procedures. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience in account/program management Customer facing experience and knowledge of basic sales aspects. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions. Ability to effectively manage customer communication and expectations. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Experience mentoring others preferred. MS Office Suite and ERP Demonstrated ability to operate with minimal supervision and provide updates. Preferred Qualifications: 3-5 years' directly related experience in the military/aerospace industry preferred Experience with government contracting and compliance. Physical Demands: (with or without reasonable accommodations) Bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, twisting, stretching, prolonged sitting and/or standing. Lifting or transporting light to heavy items (up to 50 lbs). Repetitive motions. Ability to remain calm and in control, even when under pressure. Ability to apply mental processes, in order to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions. Ability to manage stress. Ability to tolerate fumes, odors and noise. Visual acuity.
