Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technologist

Job Description

As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will work in the Special Chemistry or Toxicology Department, supporting various analyzers. Your main tasks will include performing all necessary laboratory testing crucial for the detection, diagnosis, and prognosis of diseases. This role requires handling STAT samples efficiently, troubleshooting laboratory equipment, and providing software analysis for all results. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of results before they are released in the Laboratory Information System, following strict protocols for the acceptance or rejection of patient results, and transporting specimens according to established standards and protocols.

Hard Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Medical Laboratory Science

• 1 year of professional laboratory experience

• Experience with laboratory machinery equipment

• Ability to provide software analysis

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Elmwood Park, New Jersey.

Work Environment

The position is based in either the Toxicology or Special Chemistry Department, utilizing automated analyzers.

Prior experience in specific benches is not required, provided you have clinical lab experience.

The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
