After training, schedule can be Sunday - Thursday, Tuesday - Saturday or Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PMQualifications and Requirements * The Maintenance Mechanic Level I must possess a working knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and computer theories, applications, and hardware configurations. * The individual must have a thorough understanding of the distribution system network, including, but not limited to, gradients, capacities, interconnections, mapping, service territory and facility locations to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation and maintenance of water treatment facilities and related appurtenances. * The individual must possess a working knowledge of Company policies, procedures, and safety practices, as well as state and federal regulations applicable to area of responsibility including, but not limited to, Confined Space and OSHA regulations. * The individual must be detail-oriented and capable of preparing and maintaining accurate records and documents. Utilization of company systems, software programs, and devices necessary to perform assigned duties. * The Maintenance Mechanic I must be capable of operating equipment and vehicles necessary for the completion of assignments and must possess a commercial driver's license with appropriate endorsements * The Maintenance Mechanic I will be required to pass a qualification examination developed by the Company prior to the conclusion of the qualification period. * The individual will also be required to pass an initial and annual OSHA medical examination, and must be able to perform the essential functions and meet the physical requirements for Maintenance Mechanic I.
