Aerotek Quality Inspector in Edgewood, New York

Job Title: Inspector

Job Description

Join our team as an Inspector, where you will conduct layout inspections of aircraft detail parts and assemblies according to manufacturing work instructions and customer engineering definitions. You will be responsible for generating AS9102 FAIRs for customer review and approval, reading and interpreting customer requirements, and generating nonconformance reports. Additionally, you may be appointed to perform MRB Monitor duties as outlined in QWI-003, which includes Receiving, In-process, and Final Inspection. You will also be tasked with reading and interpreting Inspection and Manufacturing work instructions and specifications for standard catalog hardware (MS, NAS, etc). Miscellaneous tasks as required will also be part of your job role.

Hard Skills

  • Knowledge of GD&T

  • Ability to generate AS9102 FAIRs

  • Experience with INFOR; MWI-028: QC Transactions

  • Ability to read and interpret specifications for standard catalog hardware (MS, NAS, etc)

Soft Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret customer requirements

  • Generate nonconformance reports

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Edgewood, New York.
