DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Residential Services Aide, you will be responsible for providing support and services for individuals living within residential units. You will assist development, delivery, and monitoring of treatment, training, and related services provided in residential units. Day to day work is completed with guidance and supervision from the Residential Services Aide Supervisor and other program staff on the Interdisciplinary Team. As a member of the Interdisciplinary Team, you will deliver treatment and training services in the areas of self-care, socialization, and health maintenance as specified in each individual's Individual Support Plan.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 40-hour work week Work hours during training are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Work hours after training are 2nd shift (2:45 PM to 11:15 PM), with 30-minute lunch. You will work a rotating schedule of 7 days on 2 days off, 8 days on 4 days off. You may need to travel as needed Overtime is required for this position May change based on operational needs. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Successful completion of the Aide Trainee program (commonwealth title); or Six months of paid experience in the care, activities, and personal guidance of individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
