Ohio State Job Bank Principal Researcher I, Product Experience in East Windsor, New Jersey

Job Summary As a Global Product Experience Principal I Researcher, you will be responsible to guide and drivesensory and consumer research activities and projects in alignment with business opportunities and corporate strategies for key global customers.You willpartner closely withthe creation and design teams and regional product experience teams product design and formulation.You will also partner with commercial and marketing teams to ensure impactful customer engagement reactively and proactively. You will be the voice of the consumer. Responsibilities: Proactive and autonomous understanding of area of expertise, competitive analysis and identification of gaps and opportunities in knowledge and capabilities for the global organization Harvest, funnel and disseminate knowledge and insights globally from both internal and external sources Mentor less senior staff on existing capabilities Global ambassador of IFF expertise in sensory, consumer and cognitive science, participate in peer reviewed journals and scientific presentations in major events Influence the generation of business-relevant global projects internally and at customers Engage with stakeholders to align on the approach and ensure the field of expertise is leveraged to create business value Execute or drive the execution of the most impactful customer projects or proactive initiatives, including data generation, analysis, interpretation, leading to actionable insights for IC&D Communicate and present in an impactful way the approach and/or insights at various stages to senior stakeholders - project team, customers, leadership Timely documentation and system management: ensure all necessary documents are archived, tasks managing system is updated, databases are filled and enable leverage by the entire PX team through trainings Requirements: Masters and/or PhD in Sensory Science, Experimental Psychology, Neuroscience, Food Science or related area Fluent in spoken and written English Minimum 10 years of experience in the area of expertise, preferably within the food/beverage industry We are a global leader in taste, scent, and nutrition, offering our customers a broader range of natural solutions and accelerating our growth strategy.
