Logistics Management Coordinator (East Windsor, NJ): Maintain databases of logistics information to robust long-term freight market standing and competitiveness. Research and analyze international logistics market and freight forwarding industry dynamics and trends including rates, sales information, marketing and servicing strategies of competitors. Monitor and report company’s flow of vessels and goods using Web-based logistics information systems. Interpret data on ocean and air import processes and related logistics elements, such as availability, maintainability, reliability, supply chain management, strategic sourcing and supplier management. Apply analytic methods to understand, predict and control air and ocean logistics operations. Prepare reports on logistics performance measures. Provide ongoing analyses in areas such as transportation costs, delayed shipments and most suitable delivery processes. Monitor activities and report to management activities related to coordination of shipments from origin to final destination ensuring safe, economical and timely delivery.Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Logistics, International Relations, or related field and 1 year of experience as Logistics Analyst, Logistics Management Coordinator, Operations Specialist, or related position. Experience establishing logistics task priorities, tracking freight movement, and ensuring the availability of resources. Experience measuring effectiveness of logistics activities and practices. Experience reviewing shipping agreements with new and existing clients, vendors, agents, and steamship lines.
