Our client, a leading technology firm, is seeking a Software Developer Intern to join their team. As a Software Developer, you will be part of the application development team supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to analytical problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Software Developer Intern

Location: Whippany, NJ

Pay Range: $25-$30/hourly

What's the Job?

• Code application programs from specifications utilizing common web technologies, such as Microsoft .NET framework, C#, JavaScript, and HTML.

• Ensure front-end web code interacts effectively with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server using PL/SQL or Transact SQL.

• Develop test plans, test cases, and test data, and implement, track, and support unit testing to ensure completeness and accuracy of project requirements.

• Collaborate with team members to enhance application functionality and performance.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a minimum of 2 years into matriculating towards a Computer Science degree.

• 2 or more years of experience working with programming languages, either in a professional capacity or through coursework.

• Completion of at least 1 programming, 1 data structures, and 1 database class.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.
