Immediate hiring: Cylinder Technician
Job Description
This position involves tearing down and disassembling hydraulic cylinders. The ideal candidate must be mechanically inclined and physically capable of lifting 50lbs repetitively throughout the day. Intermediate level employee.
Responsibilities
Test products before shipment.
Disassemble cylinders, evaluate parts’ needs, reassemble cylinders, and conduct testing.
Gather parts to be shipped after completion.
Provide solutions to problems as they arise, such as broken parts, missing parts, wrong material, or missed tooling.
Essential Skills
Organizational skills
1 year of experience with mechanical aptitude
Physical ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively
Ability to read a tape measure
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School diploma is preferred
Trade school is a plus

Work Environment
This role is situated in a machine shop type setting, which used to be an old car dealership. The work area is in the old showroom. The dress code requires steel-toed boots, jeans, and safety glasses.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Freedom, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
