The Role: This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Business Partner at our manufacturing site in DuBois, PA. This role is critical in driving our people initiatives and improving the overall employee experience. In this role, you will be responsible for staffing management, employee relations, training and development, and continuous improvements. As a member of the HR team this role requires strong team collaboration and assist in the development of strategies and initiatives to meet the business objectives.

What You’ll Do

Employee Relations & Workplace Culture

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, workplace concerns, and conflict resolution.

  • Promote a positive work environment by fostering open communication, trust, and engagement.

  • Conduct investigations and facilitate fair and consistent resolution of employee relations issues.

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, proactively addressing potential risks.

  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.

Performance & Development

  • Support leaders in coaching employees, delivering feedback, and facilitating performance discussions.

  • Assist with performance improvement plans and corrective action processes when needed.

  • Guide employees on career development opportunities within the company.

  • Provide training and development resources to strengthen leadership and employee skills.

HR Program Implementation & Policy Compliance

  • Support the rollout of company-wide HR initiatives at the site level, ensuring alignment with business needs.

  • Communicate and enforce HR policies, ensuring employees and managers have a clear understanding of expectations.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR metrics to support decision-making.

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, providing training as needed.

Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Support

  • Assist employees with questions related to pay, benefits, and leave programs.

  • Support managers in making informed compensation decisions within established guidelines.

  • Partner with payroll to ensure accuracy in employee records, timekeeping, and benefits administration.

  • Provide guidance on site-specific scheduling, attendance, and leave management issues.

Site Engagement & Workforce Support

  • Drive employee engagement initiatives that promote teamwork, inclusion, and a strong workplace culture.

  • Organize and support site-specific HR programs, such as wellness initiatives, employee recognition, and team-building activities.

  • Act as the primary HR contact for employees at the site, ensuring their concerns and needs are addressed in a timely and supportive manner.

What You Bring

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of HR experience, with a strong background in employee relations, performance management, and HR policy implementation.

  • Knowledge of employment laws, workplace compliance, and best practices.

  • Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft 365.

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PHR/SPHR

  • Green Belt Certification/Continuous Improvement Experience

  • Experience working in a manufacturing facility

Salary range:

$93,900.00 - $169,000.00
