STV Incorporated Senior Accountant in Douglassville, Pennsylvania

Reference #: JR2123 STV is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team for our New York, NY or our Douglassville, PA office. This position is designated as hybrid (3 days week/in office).

Key responsibilities: Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for management and perform analysis to identify trends and explain variances from budget Develop ad hoc financial reports and assist with automating the overall financial reporting process Supports month-end and year-end close processes including posting journal entries, preparing account reconciliations, and performing flux analyses Designs operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency Oversee subsidiary ledger and assist with improving processes and aligning policies Ensures integration of data produced into systems and supports objectives of financial analysts Works with external consultants or auditors to provide required information and ensure proper recordkeeping for historical purposes Assist with accounting special projects including implementing new systems and integrating newly acquired companies Prepares financial statements in accordance with GAAP

Qualifications A bachelor's degree in an accounting, supported by a minimum 3 years' work experience as an auditor in a public accounting firm US CPA licensure Proven project management skills Excellent communication A collaborative approach to management The flexibility to constantly learn and adapt Microsoft Suite of Products. PowerBI and/or Adaptive experience a plus

Compensation Range:$92,630.00 - $123,507.00
