The Children's Village US Clinician in Dobbs Ferry, New York

US Clinician conducts a mental health assessment of all unaccompanied children (UC) in the US Program to enhance their optimal emotional and behavioral well-being. Identifying and treating UC with mental health symptoms and providing crisis intervention. Providing weekly individual and group psychotherapy sessions for all UC. Preparing UC for reunification or transition to the community by improving their social skills, assisting them to better manage their behaviors, adapt to differences in the culture and societal norms and enhancing other skills. Completing all initial and 30-day assessments in a timely manner, as per ORR policy and procedures.

Need excellent oral and written skills. Ability to manage and promote a therapeutic environment, considering the varying clinical needs of each child. Proficient computer skills. Ability to speak, read, and write in English & Spanish.

Masters Degree in Social Work or Mental Health. Must be flexible to work in all shifts.
