The Children's Village ITM Coach/ Casework Support Specialist in Dobbs Ferry, New York

Position Overview:

This position shall carry out tasks to assist in facilitating the successful implementation, training and integration of the Integrated Treatment Model (ITM) through the Rose Hard-to-Place Cottage and an abbreviated version in the Rapid Intervention Center within the Childrens Village. Training of staff and consultation are major responsibilities of the position in addition to case management work as needed such as transporting youth to appointments, court and home visits, supervising visits, AWOC due diligence, home assessments, court appearance, coordinating family visits. Reports to the ITM Assistant Director and Clinical Supervisor. The position requires availability for evening, weekend hours and travel.

Position Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree Preferred OR High School Diploma with 3 years of experience in a residential setting and/or direct experience with the ITM implementation Knowledge of the Integrated Treatment Model and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Knowledge and experience in child welfare, juvenile justice, required. Experience in the development and running of groups, preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills, required. Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, required Knowledge of Cornell TCI and Safe Crisis Management, preferred. Certification in one or both, preferred. Demonstrated administrative skills. Computer literate. Bi-lingual Spanish, ideal. Schedule: Monday-Friday 11am-7pm
