DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Licensed Psychologist Manager at SCI Dallas, you will have a unique opportunity to lead and shape the institution's psychological services program. As part of your role, you will develop new policies and procedures, lead the population Psychiatric Review Team, and join clinical review teams. You will directly administer psychological tests and evaluations for inmates, contributing significantly to their rehabilitation. Additionally, you will supervise and work with subordinate psychological staff to evaluate inmates for mental health services, provide counseling and crisis intervention, set treatment objectives, and oversee psychological services programs. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment; 37.5 hour work week. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Licensed Psychologist MH or Psychologist; or One year of experience as a licensed professional psychologist in the treatment of inmates or individuals with mental illness, mental retardation or behavioral dysfunction. Special Requirements: Possession of a valid license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology or possession of a valid license to practice psychology as issued by another state with licensure requirements acceptable to the Board. Applicants with out-of-state licensure must obtain Pennsylvania licensure within one year of employment.

Other Requirements: Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required. PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
