We are looking for a thorough Industrial Electrician- Maintenance to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of premises. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety with a focus on electrical work. Industrial electricians install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and machinery and parts, such as control panels. This position requires extensive knowledge of electrical components as well as electrical safety codes and regulations. They must be professional, technical, and mechanically proficient.The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition.

Responsibilities

· Be able to troubleshoot and repair industrial wiring up to and including 3 phase 480 Volt.

· Understand and apply technical diagrams on wiring systems and equipment.

· Inspect electrical components including transformers and circuit breakers

· Use testing devices to identify and report electrical problems including ammeters, voltmeters, thermal scanners and cable testers.

· Use hand and power tools

· Adhere to state and local building regulations

· Complete work orders on time

· Create records of materials used

· Set up and test computer systems by running cables and connecting computer jacks and plugs

· Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards

· Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)

· Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary

· Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality

· Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed

· Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)

· Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed
