Modify complex business applications programs from detailed specifications, and test, document, and maintain those programs. Work closely with business analysts and technical team members to understand business and technical requirements that drive the analysis and design of data models, data architecture, stored procedure development and general high-quality technical solutions. Involved in the full systems life cycle and responsible for designing, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting code that is delivered on time and within budget. Define the data architecture of data analytic and predictor tool, standards, principles, including modeling, metadata, security and reference data. Make recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code. Work with system DBA’s with performance tuning and physical data modeling. Conduct production support. Perform operational feasibility to measure efficiency of proposed system. Experience must include utilizing: Python, R Programming, PL/SQL, Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, Cloudera, TOAD, SVN, Autosys, CSS, XML, Scala, Sqoop, Oozie, Impala, Map reduce, HQL. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or a foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, CIS, Computer Technology, Engineering (Any) or related with 1 year of relevant IT experience as a Computer/Engineering Professional. In lieu of the above, will also accept an Associate’s degree or a foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, CIS, Computer Technology, Engineering (Any) or related with 2 years of relevant IT experience as a Computer/Engineering Professional.
