Job Title: Mold Injection Machine Operator

Location: Cranbury, NJ

Pay: $24-$30/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate injection molding machines to produce plastic components as per production schedules.

• Monitor the production process to ensure the machine is functioning properly

• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on injection molding machines

• Inspect products for quality assurance and conformity to specifications

• Record production data and maintain accurate logs of machine operations

• Collaborate with quality control and other team members to discuss production issues

• Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures within the work area

• Assist in the training of new staff on machine operation procedures

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machine operation or related field is a plus

• Previous experience in plastic injection molding or a similar manufacturing environment

• Basic understanding of machinery and production operations

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team

• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks

• Willingness to work in shifts and flexible hours as required by production demands
