

Job Information
System One Field Service Supervisor in Cranberry Twp, Pennsylvania
Lead and coordinate the on-site assembly of complex mechanical and electromechanical equipment at customer locations. You'll be the point person overseeing the installation of automated manufacturing systems, ensuring proper assembly according to specifications and maintaining excellent customer relationships throughout the process.
Responsibilities
Interpret and execute projects based on customer specifications, design drawings, bills of material, and scope documents
Coordinate with internal teams to secure necessary components and materials for field construction
Participate in pre-shipment testing and system disassembly when schedule allows, coding components for efficient reinstallation
Perform mechanical assembly tasks and assist with meeting project deadlines
Handle occasional touch-up painting and operate equipment including forklifts, hammer drills, and hose crimping tools
Ensure compliance with all site-specific health and safety regulations
Maintain clear communication with customers, contractors, and internal teams to establish goals and track installation progress
Translate technical drawings into practical applications at customer facilities
Direct the assembly of pipe supports, piping spools, and wire tray installations
Document daily activities and shift coordination information for project management
Requirements
Demonstrated understanding of piping hardware and mechanical systems
Proficiency with hand tools and precise measurement techniques
Ability to interpret technical drawings, identify errors, and perform basic mathematical calculations
Willingness to work at heights using ladders or scissor lifts
Experience with hydraulic systems, piping, pneumatics, and electric motor-driven equipment
Availability for 60+% travel (including some weekends and holidays), with understanding that travel requirements fluctuate significantly
