About the role: As a Senior Project Engineer you will be responsible for all project management aspects of Nuclear Fuel Reload Engineering Projects for your assigned customer(s) within our Nuclear Fuel organization. You will be the primary interface to the customer for reload projects and will lead small sized teams (up to 15 team members) in cross functional disciplines such as Safety Analysis, Core Engineering, and Software Development.
You will report to the Resource Operations Manager and be located at Cranberry Woods, PA working hybrid. We are only able to consider candidates authorized to work in the United States. We do not offer visa sponsorship now or in the future. Your Day to Day:
Be the primary customer interface for engineering activities including managing external communications, preparing/leading status meetings or other customer meetings, and leading emergent issue response.
Be the lead contact for internal communications for the customer and internal technical teams.
Review and understand contractual requirements to ensure project-specific deliverables and customer requests comply with contractual requirements.
Perform lead role for business offer activities, including serving as the Technical Input Lead for the offer process.
Maintain critical working relationships with customer personnel, manage customer scope change requests, and promptly resolve scope, deficiency, and schedule conflicts with customers and internal teams.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of department products/services. Increase orders by integration of product/service capabilities and directly promote to resolve customer needs
Support product line management with allocating resources for routine and emergency situations to meet customer's needs.
Manage project financials to support product line profitability.
Assist Project Management Organization in direction and administration of projects.
Qualifications: As a successful candidate, you bring the following to the team:
Bachelor's degree. Applicable disciplines are Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or related technical discipline.
3 years of experience in a technical/engineering role or 3 years of experience as a project manager in a technical industry such as engineering, manufacturing, nuclear or construction.
Working knowledge in project schedule, and cost management processes and associated tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, SAP or other related tools). Preferred
Broad technical knowledge of nuclear power plants.
5 years of experience as a project manager leading and directing medium or high complexity projects to successful completion.3 years in a technical/engineering role and 2 years as a project manager may be considered as equivalent.
