In the framework of implementing Westinghouse's R&D and Innovation new Operating Model, the Senior Manager, Technology to Market will report to the Director Technology to Market and Innovation PMO and will be responsible for the oversight of identifying critical and disruptive technology bricks, assess them, prioritize them and move them forward the innovation funnel. This role in alignment with Innovation PMO will establish processes, methodologies, and tools required to accelerate innovation development at Westinghouse in alignment with Business Unit strategic objectives as effective budgets allocations and producing business cases and new business models for identified technology bricks including external funding and partnerships. This role will need to establish strong, collaborative relationships with the Business Units and other D&I departments while championing a culture of innovation.

Your Day to Day: Driving in alignment with BU technology scaling and maturation making the link with the business unit bottom line in alignment with Digital, Strategy and Tehcnology Road mapping and D&I BU liaison officers. Increasing market-responsive product offerings by implementing new stage-gate process and in aligned with Strategy and Technology Roadmap Program and digital teams. Ensure R&D teams in D&I and BU understand the goals and the objectives of the business plan and have the right resources to accomplish them. Forge strong partnerships with internal stakeholders from across Business Units and D&I departments and external stakeholders to push technology bricks through the innovation funnel. Identifying right technology and business opportunities including external funding. Maintain thorough knowledge of the business unit and its strategic objectives and priorities to align technology solutions and initiatives with the goals of the organization. Work with innovators to deliver their project's ensuring work has secured appropriate governance approvals, buy-in from senior teams and has sufficient resource and capacity to deliver effectively. Partner with Business Unit Leaders to successfully scale-up and commercialize products, ensuring key design criteria are met in alignment and supporting cross-functionally with other D&I departments. Identify games-changers and disruptive technology bricks to support forward-looking business strategies. Through technical knowledge and expertise and in alignment with other WEC entities, this role will drive the organization to publish papers in technical journals, engage in joint technology development programs with national labs and universities, and leverage tech companies to accelerate digital, modeling and simulation development that will drive value for Westinghouse's business strategy. Ensures execution rigor across all projects. Ensures a culture of entrepreneurship and pioneer within D&I and WEC globally. Supports engagement with the business units, the Innovation Board, WBR, MOR and strategic roadmapping as needed. Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration across different product teams and functional areas.

Who You Are: Bachelors required, Master of Science in a relevant discipline and/or MBA preferred (or other advanced degree) or on-hands experience. At least 15 years of experience, with 10+ years of progressive leadership and management experience Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale initiatives and complex projects to completion Ability to lead a team of people managers to successfully execute strategy Ability to distill customer needs and direct the right technology appr aches Ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to convey complex information to different stakeholders effectively Why Westinghouse?
