TheSAP Supervisor - Operations role will be responsible for a team of SAP professionals performing production support activities within the company's multi-system landscape. This is a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of SAP systems and applications. Your responsibilities will include supervising a team and participating in preventative maintenance, emergency access, enforcing compliance in standards, and overseeing the transport process and testing for large projects. This role will also participate in the SAP Design Center of Excellence to ensure that all projects and complex enhancements meet the expected standards (technical and compliance).

This is a US ONLY Remote or Mobile Role.

Your Day to Day:

Work closely with SAP Architects and Basis Lead to schedule yearly technical support activities, including system installations, patches, upgrades, disaster recovery testing, and system refreshes to ensure compatibility of SAP software/hardware and to keep WEC up to date on current releases. This includes non-SAP software utilized by the SAP Technical Center, including Quality Center, Unified Function Testing, etc. Coordinate all SAP server and application maintenance activities, including pre-job briefs and cutover/go-live support Work closely with SAP Security personnel to establish proper security measures for functional and technical support roles while meeting internal/external audit expectations Work with SAP Security and Functional/Development leads to maintain emergency access while meeting internal/external audit expectations Review all emergency access logs for the SAP support team Participate in all internal and external audits, including walk-throughs, reviews of all evidence prior to submittal, and development and implementation of action plans to remediate findings Work with SAP Change Management team to define and enhance processes utilizing Solution Manager and ChaRM (Change and Release Management) systems Work with SAP Testing Team to define and enhance processes related to projects and testing automation Serve as backup to SAP Change Management and SAP Test teams Lead efforts to analyze, correct and determine root cause related to system performance and availability issues Facilitate performance assessments, objective reviews, and foster growth and development for the team

Who You Are: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 8+ years of information technology experience Experience with lifecycle development procedures and processes (change control, job scheduling, development methodologies, system landscape, application development, and back-up and recovery, etc.) Experience with application testing procedures and processes (scenarios, scripts, testing schedules, defects, reporting, etc.) Experience with internal or external audits of applications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems Experience with application security access (including emergency access) Experience with ALM Quality Center is a plus Experience with SAP and/or S/4 HANA is a plus
